Privacy policy

We collect the minimum needed to deliver a cash-on-delivery parcel, and we keep it in one place: our own database.

What we collect

Name, mobile number, delivery address, city, state and pincode you enter at checkout.
The order itself — pieces, sizes, colours, quantities and amounts.
Optional delivery notes you add for the courier.
Your email address if you subscribe to drop announcements.

We do not collect payment instruments. COD means no card or UPI data ever reaches us. We set no advertising cookies and run no third-party tracking pixels.

How it is stored

Orders live in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database with row-level security enabled: the public storefront key can read published catalogue data only, never orders. Address and phone details are shared with the courier partner solely to deliver the parcel, and with no one else.

Your cart

Your bag is stored in your own browser (localStorage) so it survives a page reload. It never leaves your device until you place an order.

Retention and deletion

We keep order records for as long as tax and courier-dispute rules require. You can ask us to delete your name, number and address at any time — write to care@banarasian.com with your order number.
